ould this little guy be any cuter? I swear, those dimples are enough to just melt my heart!
He and his gorgeous mama met me a few evenings ago and just like most 17 month olds, he was super active and super fun:)
(also...stay tuned for part 2 of this post! I also had the opportunity to photograph this mom's beautiful sister and her little boy as well.)
p.s. thanks to "Ma", "Pa" and Aunties for helping make this shoot a success. they were my bubble blowers, singers and toddler soother extraordinaires!
What you cannot see in this image is that I had spilled an entire bag of limes into his lap to get him to sit still. This is right before he realized he could throw them at me:) Look at that ornery little grin!
t seems like lately I have had the pleasure of photographing many sets of sisters. I'm definitely not complaining, because there is something about the sisterly bond that adds a certain spark of magic to the images.
These two sisters were certainly no exception. From the minute I met them, they were excited and anxious to get going on their shoot. We started out by working indoors and then moved outdoors to their beautiful yard and grounds. They even had a few ideas of their own and I was happy to include their ideas in the shoot.
It was great meeting you and your girls, Mr. and Mrs. S...I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
his little fellow is the very first client of mine that I've photographed since his birth. He just celebrated his first birthday and my how he has grown. The last time I saw him was in the late fall and he was just a sitting 6 month old. Now, he has a mouthful of teeth and is a very busy boy. He loves to walk walk walk and wow is he fast! He is also very sweet and I can sure tell that he adores his big sister.
It has been fun watching you grow, Mr. D:) Thank you for allowing me to document your growth!
I just love it when moms bring along creative props like these!
I *heart* baby profiles:) Look at those lashes!
sweet curled baby toes!!!
Ok, this picture...
I had picked one of those little plants and was using it to tickle his toes. For some reason, I turned it upside down and put it on his head. Unbelievably, it stayed there and he sat there for the longest time with the plant on his head. He had been such a busy boy the entire session, but somehow, when the plant was there, he was calm:)
